Recruitment – Quotations

Highway Safety Developments Ltd is a quality certified manufacturing and services company. CE certified road signs and structures manufacturer, with ISO9001 and OHSAS18001 certification. Based in Knocktopher, Co. Kilkenny, we require a quotations person reporting to and working closely with the senior quotations officer.

The role includes:

• Pricing Bill of Quantities, marking up and quantifying specification drawings 
• Pricing for materials pertaining to contracts, installation contracts and allied road safety works and civils.
• Creating and monitoring existing quotations
• Processing successful quotations to production orders 
• Liaising with clients regarding lead times for supply of materials
• Liaising with main contractors, consulting engineers and foremen to ensure requirements and deadlines are met.
• Comparing tender and construction documentation and keeping track of any variations
• Key account management
• Preparing As-Built drawings on completion of a project.

Essential Skills:

• Proficient in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook.

• AutoCad – an advantage

• Be able to work under tight deadline & schedules

Background in Constructions, Quantity Surveying, Estimating or Engineering would be an advantage
